Common mistakes / natural phrasing

'我叫...' is 'I'm called...' (name). '来自' is 'from' (place); don't say '我从美国来' in formal intros—'我来自美国' is standard. '很高兴认识你' is the default 'nice to meet you'; no need to add '很' again.
